Racing Seat

The composit racing seats available from Caterham (mfg by Tillett) are an excellent fit in the elan. Floorpan needs modification or brackets need to be custom, but the seat is narrow enough at the shoulders that it does not conflict with either the rollover bar or the doors. Nicely made piece.

Do you know how much they weigh?

I haven't weighed it, but I think it is less than 5 kg. There is a photo in the Caterham online catelog, and Demon Tweeks sells the same seat.
