Have Elan FIA app K race cars joined what are a called continuation models as many GT40s, Lola T70, Chevron B8s are now.

Hi Andy
If you look at any entry list for a race these days, nearly every Elan is down as a 26R!
A fortune was spent on that car just testing and development, but at the end of the day it is another racing Elan at around double the price of other GTS cars and 50k less than a genuine 26R. Had quite a few dnf's as well I believe.

That is definitely Jackie Stewart in the black and white Lotus Elan the entrant was The Chequered Flag race team
(Graham Warner) and I was one of the mechanics on that day.

I understand the Chequered Flag Elan, when sold went to Asia, based in Hong Kong raced in Macau, Malaysia and Singapore. The chap I bought my Elfin 300 from worked on it when it raced in Singapore. Were you involved with it when it was sold?
