OT but not sure where else to ask: Super 7 Mk2

PostPost by: Greg Cozier » Tue Feb 03, 2015 7:30 pm

I'd like contact info for a Super 7 enthusiast/expert.

I've been offered a tube-frame (not square section) racing chassis for what is supposed to be a Lotus 7 Mk2 replica but have no way of knowing if it's a faithful copy. Need to communicate with someone who knows chassis dimensions and other features to look for. Thanks in advance, any advice appreciated.

My e-mail is greg at barbados rally carnival dot com if someone would like to contact me off-forum.

Hi Greg, PM me with details I've a genuine 62 seven and looked for ages before buying the one I have, its verified as original. I spent a long time learning to spot the fakes before buying

HI Vaughan

The tapered tubes at the ends of the dash are my normal give away as most replica fabricators don't bother to copy these. But maybe they are learning

cheers
