Front suspension travel

PostPost by: 661 » Thu Jun 22, 2017 2:54 pm

What is the approximate travel from ride height to full bump and full droop?
I have to 'precision engineer' the front upper TTR wishbone with a large hammer to prevent the wheel touching it at turn in and as I don't have shocks yet would want to ensure I move the suspension through a full range of movement.
Thx

From the Elan manual,

Thanks Ron. Good job I didn't guess as I'd have been out.

Just to clarify, this is the change measured at the lower shock absorber mounting point.
Ron.
