Seems to use an existing backplate. I don’t know if he makes different versions depending on the backplate.
The one I had made by Dave Vegher, while it may be marginally bigger, was not inexpensive and also involved a custom backplate. It attaches with one long bolt to the backplate. With its very large size it takes a bit of maneuvering to get it in place. After the first 30 minutes of trying I thought it wasn’t going to fit. Dave Vegher had said he would redo it if it didn’t fit. It had been patterned off a “26r” and I have an S4. With the tight fit I’m pretty sure there can be no deeper version.
Since the Vegher version is no longer available anyway it seems that the Milner unit is the way to go.
