battery cable

Okay, I need to replace the now deceased battery in my 72 Elan, and
Odyssey seems to get the majority vote. What's the correct
model/size? The Battery Barn here in Virginia seems to depict the
PC680MJT as the the smallest 680 with SAE terminals. Is there a
reason not to pick a battery with a larger capacity?

I no longer have the Elan..but in my opinion.one of the slim ones that is
only about 3.5 inches wide.would be fine.

It would fit nice into the spot for the regular battery and put on pressure
on the side light..

That should have been "not put pressure on the side light"

I had two of these in my Seven..two of the 3 inch wide models. That car
would crank forever.

I really do think one would have been enough.

I forgot the size I had in the Elan.but it WAS putting pressure on the side
light.

Hello Kevin,

The PC680MJT. The MJ part is for metal jacket. A regular PC680
should work out fine, weigh less, and should be marginally cheaper.

regards

carl

I am on the road at the moment so I can not check but.... If I recall
correctly it was the 680 that I fitted to my S4."C.D.S."
