Con rods for stroking a TC to 1700 ccs

Several of the list have modified their TC engines to increase displacement.
I believe Mike Braun posted dyno figures in the 130-140 hp range. I can
report that the seat of the pants meter detects the power gain and I am
totally satisfied with the conversion. A bit more punch and no apparent
visible signs of why!

One of several ways to accomplish this is to use a Ford Crossflow engine
crank, 2737E connecting rods and special height pistons. I prepared a set
of 2737E rods (balanced and shot peened) but due to an error in the piston
height order was unable to use them. The con rod set is for sale, along
with a number of S2 Elan parts. Interested parties please contact me off
list at "***@***.***" for photos and prices.

Thanks for your consideration. Ray.
