So, apart from the IWR, the IWR special, the Shapecraft, the Frua and the Elanbulance, what else have the Romans ever done for us?

never going to happen, my aim would probably be to produce something simalar to the frua
i would start with a coupe and if i couldnt produce something worthwhile, i would keep the body standard

... Let's see Jiminy's masterpiece in a few years .
Maybe , until this day , we 'll know more on Jiminy (new-tral today) and have meet each other.
I just wonder how you are going to built it , what are your knowledge and facilities ... If you are just speaking arround for collecting infos or docs on the subject ... for everything else ...

I found this cutting of a targa fastback Elan from an old French car magazine; no clues as to date other than the car appears to have been exhibited at the Racing Car Show in London. Must be around 1966 I would guess.

On the signs at the base the centre one reads "camossmie muller, 80 rue anntole france paris, tel 737 24 26" and the next sign reads "Elan Lotus Europe, transformations racing, ou coupe convertible, passages de roues, arceaux sieges, rous de 6 pouces, bottom line un-readable". The other signs presumably refer to their work on BMW, Escorts and Capris.

Anyone throw any light onto this?

It's Friday afternoon and I'm bored!

These two advertisements for the same car are probably from Autosport and Motor Sport. Gold Seal of course were a well known garage in SE London; Dave Brodie campaigned an Elan for them in the early 70s. The rear three quarter windows are not the normal Shapecraft style, so what is this?
