Although it seems an attempt is being made to get another 11 pager going it will fail, unless FEDUP adds a claim to have the only remaining Shapecraft 50R.

Sorry to disapoint you no 11 pager just a Lotus elan +2s with reniforced lotus chassis,tony thompson suspension & drive shafts. John smirtwaite 160 bhp engine.Painted in audi lquid blue .
But still not sure about the wheels.

Ian,
I'll try to end this hijacking of your thread. I think the color you chose is very good. My +2 needed paint when I bought it 1977 and I have not gotten around to it in 30 years so you can imagine how tatty mine is in comparison. I think your wheels aid in the good appearance. Are they they the 14" diameter wheels now supplied by Minilite? I have a set of 13" Minilites going on this winter. Best of luck finishing the assembly.

Why are you worried about the wheels? They will look great once the ride height is sorted.
I also think your car looks great & think the colour is great.
Sounds like you've got some very nice shiny bits underneath that can't be seen.
