Winter driving suggestion: Gerbing heated clothing

Just an obsevation.
I do a fair amount of motorcycle riding, and we often ride with heated jacket liners and gloves.
I got a cigar lighter power adaptor and tried plugging all this stuff into the Elan and went out for a ride on a 25-30degree F, top down, with no problem. Toasty, even. In the US northeast, the idea of getting a few more months of top-down driving is pretty appealing!
