Richard,

There is an element of truth about part of the dialogue stated in the link, and people that knew this element of truth could be persuaded that the whole thing is true. I will PM you details as I don't think it is the sort of thing to be shared publicly.

Joanna is almost certainly the same person as the one who 'owns' the domain name EKM-express.com, because that person also owns a whole bunch of similar domain names for making more fake escrow/transport companies. It is in Italy, hence my comment above.

Bill,

Do the "Technical" & "Billing" contacts, being in Selangor, mean ANYTHING at all in this scenario?

Per http://whois.domaintools.com/ekm-express.com

WRT OP "This company got good feedback on e-bay..." Presumably another fake website rather than fake feedback on a genuine ebay?

The Technicall & Billing contacts are the owners of the servers that host the website. They may not be involved in the scam.

Johanna Doblhofer presented a Autin Healey last year under the name of Klara Schmidt, exactly the same story about reason for selling. I investigated and found out that there was no shippingfirm excisting. I warned the Dutch Autoscout.nl for taking off the advertisement of the Lotus Elan. So they did. Probably Nigerian people involved, to my opinion a case for Interpol

Rob,

Are you by any chance involved in the Dutch Saab Club?

Cheers

well If you are waiting for the cops to do any thing your in for a along wait, they only care about their pay day . They also can kill you for not obeying their commands . Sadly a mute [a large man with a beard] walking with his mother caught the attention of the Metro Toronto police on Bloor at Christie St.in Toronto . Obviously he could not hear the commands to stop so the cops [2] gang tackled him and he dies of a fractured skull ---just one example of police over exuberance and they will walk away from it --just one example of the Gestapo tactics the cops have adopted -better take care of business yourself ed

At least it exists:

But then there's this:

Utting Avenue East certainly exists but I don't think there is a number 9. Lowest house number listed by Royal Mail is 23. Also the Postcode L11 1DQ relates to even numbers, odd numbers are LD11 5AA.

http://www.royalmail.com/postcode-finder

I would be very suspicious.

Looking at this address on Bing maps Bird's-eye view it appears to either be the Anfield Crematorium or a school-type building.

I would not risk making the journey. This is not a very "pleasant" part of Liverpool.

Yanni,

Take a look at page 6 of this very thread and the 4th post down by 'Ray'.

This Utting Avenue is the exact same address given to Ray - - definitely a scam/fraud stay clear and don't waste your time. Infact waste some of their time by playing along with it.

The address is irrelevant. The car nor vendor exists. This is another scam - DO NOT BE FOOLED!
