Where did you source the SS muffler?

Muffler is another fine Tony Thompson Racing product. Thank you for the kind words. More than anyone, I too am looking forward to FINAL shots. So close now.

Congratulations! Well worth the time, money and grey hair. There are more than a few of us on this site that can smile at the commitment to get your project done. Bravo!

Any update (new photos) on your restoration?

Interested to hear how the SU's worked out. Did you ever get a dyno curve?

How is the car on the road?

The project is complete. Boy I don't get to say that very often! No dyno. We tuned using traditional methods. Did add an O2 sensor to aide in tuning under load. The car is PLENTY quick and quite happy with the big SU's and build. No new photos. Off season here in the Pacific Northwest so the JPL Elan is under wraps until spring. Looking forward to sunny days and dry roads. Thanks for asking.

Great job Kevin!

What size wheels and tires did you end up using?

And, what make of wheel and model of tire?

I see that Mister E?s Elan is for sale:

A lot of time and money went into this one.

I still would have been very interested to see a dyno of McCoy?s large SU build.

Good luck with the auction.

Wow, can't believe anybody would part with that if it's even half as sweet as it looks!

That SU-setup is intriguing; looks like not too much trouble to fit to a Stromberg head.

Life dictates I have to sell. Someone is going to get a great Elan. I hope to recover half of what was spent. Fun project and am pleased how it turned out.
