How do you identify Elan 26R's? Most had magnesium peg drive wheels, lighter bodies, flared fenders, and fixed headlights. But is a 26R identified in it's serial number? Or is there a list of serial numbers for 26R's?

there are lists of 26R VINs, 26-R-x or 26-S2-y , but if you are genuinely interested in the topic you should do a bit a searching, starting from this forum...
