COC-CE certificate

Does anybody know what's the COC-CE certificate?
I need it to register My baby Elan in Italy
Any idea where find it?

I would think LOTUS ARCHIVES should be able to help if not maybe this website:

CoC is a "Certfificate of Conformity" to EC regulations.
A CoC is only needed for car from 1992/3 on.
Cars before 1993 did not have a CoC and you do not get one.
1964 S1 (at paint shop)

Paolo,

These certificates are issued by the manufacturer, Lotus Cars. The French authorities always insist on one, even for pre-1993 cars. However, as Lotus does not have full representation in many countries (not in France in any case) and so you need to contact Andy Graham, Archivist.

There is a small charge (?118 I think) but for this Lotus will also provide the Certificate of Provenance.
