Elan Sprint For Sale USA

PostPost by: tvacc » Thu Sep 29, 2016 5:51 pm

A fellow LOONY has asked me to sell his 1973 Elan Sprint. A North American model, the car is just like a time capsule. Believed to be original paint, the dark red/burgundy/maroon over black, this car is completely original. I have known the car for many years having sold it to its current owner about 2 years ago. This is one of the most original Elans I have seen in a long time. Car is rust free as far as I can see and the interior is in fantastic shape for a 45 year old car.

Not cheap, Offers in the 45K range considered. If you are interested, I will get you photos and more information. Email me at tvacc*@*lotusowners*dot* you know where. Or call me at 716-861-1412

I will get you all more photos and the VIN. I have known this car for many years. I was told by the original seller back when I bought this car for another friend years ago that Henry Winkler was looking at buying this car for an upcoming (at the time) TV show. I purchased this car before he confirmed he was buying it. Later I heard he bought that blue one with the custom white interior out on the West Coast. Dont know if the story is true, but that is what I was told. I would buy this if I had not just bought my late friends Elan S2. Or if someone wants to buy my 71 complete Spyder conversion car, with the 26r fenders and 160 hp motor, (on www.lotusowners.com) then i will buy this one. I am more into original than speed these days. I might also consider selling my very original S2 but would would have to get 40k to buy this Sprint as I have less than 10k cash to buy anothercar. I like Sprints better having owned 2 of them.
