Hi all,

Jo Mullen, widow of Tim has contacted me for help in selling Tim's two Lotus cars. One is a 2005 Base Elise, Chrome Orange with like7K miles on it.

The other is a 1972 Elan Sprint. Very nice shape. Took first place at the Lotus Owners Gathering in 1999 in Atlanta. Unfortunately that was about the time that Tim started to take ill and the car really has not been driven since. Tim was a frequent poster on all Lotus lists and we miss him greatly. I only met Tim twice over the years. Whenever we would meet at a LOG, we would always dine together. But we were great "internet" friends and would communicate often when guys were having Elan issues.

Anyways, I have told Jo what I think the car is worth. We all know the issues when an Elan is not driven for about 15 years, so I don't need to discuss that. I have also told Jo what I think a Chrome Orange Elise with 7K miles is worth as well.

I would like to ask all to not bother Jo with questions that she will obviously not know. Cars are in Virginia and her knowledge is not bad but not at our level. Someone is NOT going to steal these cars. Jo knows the value and has received ideas from several sources.

Her contact information is [email protected]" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

Please tell her you are from the Elan list. I have no financial interest in this, just a favor to Tim and Jo.[img][/

YOu know guys...just at thought but if someone wanted my S2, 1965. Worth about the same as Tims....If we could work a 3 way deal that I end up with Tims car, I might be interested.

I have always liked the Sprints better than the S2 cars......I sold mine to Texas....
