Possibly selling my project +2

I have been considering selling my 72 +2 s 130 project. The car has everything needed for a rebuild, other than paint, interior refresh and labor. Engine is the original block, resleeved and stroked with a weber head and all new components and Dellorto carbs. Have rebuilt the transmission with new bearings. Front suspension has been completed on a galvanized frame. Boxes and boxes of body seals, lights, chrome and wiring are all new. Pictures and details of the disassembly and locations of engine compartment details. The car has been stripped to the gel coat, cracks repaired and epoxy primed. I also have a near complete 1970 +2 as a reference guide and spare parts car, and many redundant parts.
Let me know if there is an interest....
Greg

Ted,
Would love to but there is only so much time in the day...in the life. Originally a dropped valve took me down the rabbit hole..............

Hi Ted
Are you still selling the 2 plus 2. I've retired and wanted one all my adult life (easily pleased perhaps!)
Just done a Gilbern Invader that had been stored for 34 yrs. Use her every week, but still hanker after a 2+2.

Thanks

Gareth

Hi all
Being new on the forum, I didn't notice the car was in the States until after I posted.

Senior moment I think, altho' it seems the trend with the price of classics climbing ever higher to import projects.
so who knows!

Thanks
Gareth

hello Gareth,
I'm new to forums too, so you may not even receive this message.
I have an Elan plus 2, it's a 1973 S130/5 Big Valve which I bought in 2002 intending to restore it.
Unfortunately it has fallen in to the stalled restoration project category even though I too am retired, I don't seem to have the time to spend any time on it, there is always something else I have to do.
I am at the rolling chassis stage with new powder coated chassis and with about 80% of the remaining suspension parts replaced with new.
The body is off and almost all of the paint is removed down to the gelcoat.
I don't want to part with it but if I have to I would rather it be to a fellow enthusiast and not to a dealer / trader.
Please get in touch if you are interested in getting more details
Regards
Alan
Ps the car is in the UK
