USA, early +2 on ebay

listed as a 70 but actually a 67, alfa taillights early door handles

listed as for parts now, kinda a shame

It could also be a '68. The changes occurred mid-year with unit 050/0929.

I thought the Alfa lights ended much earlier than that?

Parts list shows rear light change after 50/0177.

Actually, I was referring to the door and boot locking handles that were changed to comply with the 1.1.1968 US Federal requirements. H've never heard why they charged. Anybody know why?

I doubt the handles/lamps had anything to do with federal requirements as they were changed quite a bit before the Federal cars came out. It was mostly dual braking and interior switches. Pretty sure cost and/or availability was the motive.
