Lotus Elan

Sold! Again?

I may be mistaken (often am) but was this not already sold this year to someone on this forum?

Looks like it went cheap unless there was something amiss.

Massive bargain but based upon my hazy memory of this car I suspect well will see it again for sale.

If not - great buy!

That's what I said last time it was up for sale - and it came back!

Isn't that what we say about Elans- you can always resurrect them :D :D
Perhaps this one was owned by Arnie Schwarzenegger (predictive text says that's how it's spelt)
Too much booze with the bbq to be bothered to check!

This particular seller has many Lotus's's for sale fairly frequently. I have contacted this seller after his auctions close, as they often show the car a month later as relisted. I think this is the 3-4th time for this car's appearance.
His feedback is good so it is confusing. He has stated he has run into dead beat bidders that do not pay.
I suspect there is more to that story. It will be interesting to see if the deal goes thru this time...

There was a time where he ended his "no reserve auctions early", to avoid selling to the highest bidder as well.
I mentioned this is not how ebay rules are suggested to be followed, and he should consider a reserve price, or let his auctions go to the posted ending time for the ebay buying community. He was not particularly receptive- meh.
