Got it from a guy who took it off an Elan before he sold the car - and repaired the roof.
Look like it is a Britax sunroof from the reserch I have done. :D

Try "Little Port Boathaven".
The other person d.balkwill is in France and he didn't answer my email.
For my TVR 3000M Little Port made a new Cover for Weathershield to the colour l chose from Martrim

Thanks Alan,

I am cleaning all the components at the moment to see if it is serviceable and what is missing.

Looks like I need a set of twin nuts and screws ?11, a set of plastic sliders ?38 (tho only one is missing), and
the nuts and washers that secure the rear frame - I think these are seen inside, so may need to be chrome?

The headlining has a hole in it. I'm not so sure I would replace the whole part or try a repair - it's getting a piece to match! If anyone has an old one that I could use to patch it please?

Regards,

Mark.

Thanks to this thread I?ve discovered what 2 chromed parts I?ve been holding onto for many many years are. I?ve got 2 of the odd shaped parts left and right from what looks like the wind deflector.

Headlinings are not difficult to replace if you don't mind removing and re-installing the front and rear glass.

Not the car headlining - the sunroof headlining - you can see the hole in the photo. :)

I have just stripped the thin sponge covering from the rear internal fixing plate so I need to get some of this as well.

Have a look at "Martrim" for the vinyl they have a good choice of colour. They will send samples free.
You can then make one on an old Singer hand sewing machine. Or speak nice to swmbo.
If you give the Martrim reference to "Little Port Boat Haven" and the exact size they will make one for you.

Little Port also sent me parts for my TVR sunroof, they sent me everything apart from the rusted out metal bits , (which I replaced with 3mm aluminum) they sent me a headlining and vinyl pre-stitched.. so assume they can just do parts if you dont need the vinyl... but i think you will need to do some dramatic surgery, I recall that the roof bones are shared with the vinyl so it's all going to have to come apart... which is when you discover that spray glue on rust doesn't work... ;)

Got thin foam and high temp glue from woolies trim. (You need high temp glue cos the sun makes vinyl very hot and melts normal spray glue)

I have thought of replacing the rear metal bar with aluminum, to save weight if, I can drop on a piece.

So far so good on the refurb, without having to strip it apart too much.

Mark.
