Oh bugger!
My COSWORTH cam cover only 1 of 2 looks like it will now become "common" Dave.

Anyway, to all concerned I can assure you that the casting quality is very pleasing.

Cheers
John

Hi John
The one in the pic is the ONLY other one.. Not a period item so probably won't be making anymore. I have only 5 of the BRM, 2 Holbay and 2 Lotus covers made.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

that does make me feel a lot happier.
Hope you find some lucky persons to buy your other super cam covers; they're sure to enhance any twin-cam or even a "Man-Cave" wall.

Cheers
John

Gidday Dave,
Nice looking items you have there, any chance of turning one over and photographing ??
How would you feel about doing a run of 'Cosworth" BDA covers to fit a Zetec ?
Would like to discuss it with you.
Les.

Les,

I know it must exist somewhere on the archives here about a replica BDA cam cover for the Zetec engine which is already in production I think it was priced at around £250. There are also special plug leads from the same supplier.

If it's of any help, I know that Mark (elanintheforest) was the man who mentioned them on Elan.net
An absent friend pointed me towards this Elan.net thread which is the one I was referring to:-

Dave, which do you have left finished? When you say finished are they polished, powder coated or painted and do you do them to "period" finish?

I have just purchased an elan in the UK and am coming over to drive it around a bit in late may and would like to get something like the Cosworth or BRM cover fitted.

Cheers Peter

Hi To all

I have been away for 1 month in the USA and come back to find the machine shop has not even started work on the 15 cam covers I left with them.

I have been told they will be 2 weeks before completed.

I will then contact all those who have shown an interest.

They will be ready for whatever finish you wish to use ie unpainted.

Cheers
