tandem master cylinder-Texas

PostPost by: mini64 » Wed Nov 16, 2016 3:18 am

rebuilt by white post restorations in 2012. new old stock reservoir I found from a land rover guy was still in box (cap is not new). make offer. I pulled it from the car as I was exercising my front calipers to try to get a stuck piston unstuck and my brake pedal stayed down - this master cylinder would not return to the released position (it is now). this was two nights before a race weekend so I pulled this master and put in a single unit. Likely going to go to a pair of cylinders with a balance bar so don't need this one anymore.

What is it with all the tandem master appearing in Texas after I've just admitted defeat and re plumbed my single circuit master!

I might be interested but probably would need to be at the right price.

I am assuming these are 0.7" masters? Not the later bigger diameter masters.

Ok thanks. My understanding is that is the diameter for use with the vacuum boosters (two of them). My car had a 0.875" master and booster removed when I got it, which wasn't a good combination in my opinion. So my interest is only in the gold dust 0.7" tandem version..
