Very good condition Defroster Grille for a Series 1/2/3 Elan. Just a few small scratches and minor chipping at 2 the mounting 6 holes.

this price is excellent: not too long ago, one of these sold for over 300$; probably to a gt40 owner!! sandy

Good luck with the sale and at a very fair price.
I need to paint mine. Can you confirm if the original was a satin black rather than a flat Matt or crinkle finish?

I would say closer to Flat than Matt.

Definitely not Crinkle.

Mine is original and crinkle, so it depends what you're restoring.

and just for the statistics: my s3 FHC has a black crinkle coating! sandy - snowy and no more elan weather!

My SS was/ is crinkle finish; matches the ash tray.

'66 S2, unit number about a thousand higher than yours. Given the other replies, it sounds like it may have originally been crinkle black
