Lotus Elan +2S reconditioned alloy wheels for sale

PostPost by: JMH » Tue Jan 24, 2017 3:47 pm

Hi

I have 4 off Lotus Elan +2S alloy wheels for sale.

I bought these wheels secondhand from Christopher Neil Sportscars and had them refurbished by Motor Wheel Services in the 1980s.

I have not used them. Tyres have not fitted to them since they were refurbished.

The alloy rim centre are painted black rather than left unfinished. Each wheel has a rim centre.

The alloy spokes were machined and polished, they are now slightly tarnished due to being in storage.

The wheels are a good user condition and the intention was to use them on my +2 S JPS in the winter.

I recently sold my +2

I am located in Aberdeen Scotland and willing to post at cost.

Any interest please contact me via the forum

John

As a reference Matty still sells these for 600 GBP per set of 4.

Hi

When my Elan was restored I fitted Paul Matty Wheels as part of the restoration. One of the wheels needed to be replaced after a year and at that time there were no replacements available. The wheel was repainted and polished.

My wheels are genuine Lotus not replica. They are user not brand new

I think £320 for the 4 wheels and postage at cost is a fair price.

If anyone is interested please send me a private message via the forum

John,
Could I ask you to weigh one of them for me as I am selling a set of Minilites and would like the number for comparison purposes. Cheers, Jerry Congrats on the sale!
