Lotus Elan

123 Tune programmable distributorn - SOLD

PostPost by: vernon.taylor » Mon Apr 03, 2017 12:27 pm

Salut

I bought but never used this interesting bit of kit. The plan was to try some different (mild) 'mechanical' advance curves and then add in some vacuum advance/retard to modify the map under load. Also bought it because it looks easy to play with and appears stock. I did install the map program and played with it - looks easy - you can program two different curves with a switch to select 'race' or 'road'. It also communicated fine with the distributor though I didn't change anything.

Looks like a shiny Lucas distributor so it won't look out of place.

These are nearly £400 plus postage new. £250 + delivery.

Hello Vernon,

I have a 1972 Elan Sprint, if you still have the 123 ignition available and provided it will fit directly into the big valve engine, I would be interested in purchasing it for £300 delivered to SG1 3QW. You can call me on 07785237242 to arrange payment / delivery etc.

Kind Regards,

Nigel

Hi Carl

No, USB. I see they're quite a bit cheaper if you buy direct rather than through Souther Carburetters, so final price:

£250 + delivery.
