Not taking any sides here as I have dealt with Sue and find her a pleasure to deal with but I would like to say David has to be COMMENDED for defending his position and sticking to his guns against the mighty onslaught.

The reputation of this forum has already been damaged beyond repair in my opinion by the insulting and assumptive comments of those in this forum.

Please close the whole forum!

Seems to me that as Mrs Miller did not want them you have the OK to sell them if you so wish.

Your Ebay ad., whilst a touch aggressive, does make it clear they are defective. Even if the difficulty in fitting them seems to have changed from very tricky (here) to not much of a problem (there).
£200 + ?? Good luck with that.

It looks like the grease is centrifuging out from the CV to adapter plate. Not a vast problem I would have thought. Dumping them and fitting T.T. hooke joint things seems an expensive option. Still I suppose they must have been easy to take off.

IMHO your mechanic was having a nice earner.

Susan Miller is a supplier of quality parts IMO small companies in the lotus parts supply business develop replacement and modified parts to improve our cars and keep them on the road posting things like this will mean they will not bother In future and we we all be the poorer for it. I provide modified parts for stags parts we have been making for years and a supplier changes a part or a different employee assembling them all of a sudden you have a problem you are unaware of.

I said I completely understand exactly this problem to Sue personally in my message about my problem. However, that does not change the fact that I ended up with defective parts that cost me dearly. As a small business owner I know only too well that whatever goes wrong is my fault and I am the one to pay for it. That is the risk every business owner takes. Hopefully she learned from it and now has taken steps so that it never happens again.

The overall shitstorm to me on this has only made her look worse and certainly not helped her case - some of you supporters should certainly think before you speak and bring more unwanted attention to this unfortunate problem she had in this (what I hope) was an isolated case.
