Lotus Elan

Toolkit and toolroll

PostPost by: elanfan1 » Thu Feb 08, 2018 9:19 am

I'm aware of a company offering an Elan toolkit for £225 never mind the eBay idiot that's got one listed with a dreadful replica toolroll and incorrect tools for £750 (yes really).

I can offer a toolkit to the members here at a discounted price of £175 plus p&p

The photo isn't necessarily the kit you might receive though I'm happy to send an actual photo of the items before the sale is completed. Also happy to post to most places and I find the most economic way of getting it to you without making money on the postage.

Each kit comprises an accurate replica of an original toolroll in pebble grained vinyl with a hessian liner. Dimensionally correct and quite aesthetically pleasing (well I would say that as I made it!).

3 x correct size TW Superslim spanners
TW Pliers
Stubby wire form screwdriver
F Shape adjustable spanner
14mm box spanner and Tommy bar

Hello Steve

Do you have any plans to produce a replica bag for the jack & hammer ?

Not really worth it, just buy some hessian and get someone to stitch it up for you. Ought to be relatively easy.

Ooop's and I always thought that the original was made from similar material to the tool roll, I think it was Sue Miller who mentioned it a few years back.
