Lotus Elan

Two new Plus 2 front brake calipers

PostPost by: dunclentdr1 » Sat Feb 10, 2018 4:19 pm

These are left over from my rebuild, purchased from MEV spares and unused.

They are the imperial version and as well as fitting the Plus 2 can be used on 2 seat Elan with adapter plates.

£99 plus postage.

Located in Worcestershire.

I don't know what the Metric version is. I have them on my Spyder built 71 2 seat Elan. I don't know where to get the adapter plates....solving all that........

I am interested if you will get them over to PNM Engineering. They will be sending me some M100 Elan big brake kits to me in the very near future.

I would have to email them so they can expect them.

I could paypay the money to you or send you a draft in pounds.

Oops, my mistake, they are Imperial (which is good)!

On the later Metric Calipers - the Pins are thinner, the mounting holes are smaller and the pads are different to the earlier calipers.

Adapter plates come up on ebay and are also available new from Kelveden and others.

Can certainly post to a UK address at cost, please let me know!

If you can wait till tomorrow....I will send PNM Engineering an email to see if they will accept these for me.

I also would like to make sure I know where and can actually buy the adapter plates. Can we take this off list by emailing me at tvacc*at*lotusowners*dot*com

Do you have the email address or websites for the place/places I can buy the adapter plates? I assume we use regular plus two disks?

I am serious about buying these. Just have to make sure I can put them on my car.

Edit....4:20 PM...EST time USA. I have emailed your source for the adapter plates and also PNM to see if they mind accepting these for me. Let you know.
