Lotus Elan

Original S1 RHD dash for sale

PostPost by: dunclentdr1 » Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:54 pm

I'm having a clear out of old S1 parts - I believe this is an original S1 dash - underneath the dirt I hink it is possible to reveal the original veneer - I have cleaned a little around the radio aperture and under the dirt/varnish the original colour seems to come through.

The dash has the original (impossible to find!) edge trim.

There is some minor rot/deterioration on one edge.

Open to offers if this would be good for your original/patina restoration, otherwise happy to keep it on the garage wall!

David

Glad to know you are looking after the Elan.

All good here, hope you are well also, and having fun with all those Elans'.

Thanks for the offer Mick - may I ask what use you plan to make of the dash?

Evening David
I'v just checked my sent messages and you are right no record of it being sent # ! ? #
I'll start again
I would like your S1 dash as an original template to have some dashboards re-made I also need a a pair of bonnet pull cables for an S1 Elan, do you have a set for sale ?
Also do you have an original centre console with the ash tray behind the gear lever that you could either sell or loan to me as I have a guy who is willing to make a mould to re-make these items .
Thanks , Greg
PS having problems sending PM's ??????
