I am selling the original set of Revolution split rims that came with my modsports car along with the AP racing 4 pot callipers and vented discs. I have a brand new set of uprights and trunnions that I am not planning to sell but would if someone wanted the whole set up.
The hubs are new (on Ford centres) and wont fit the wheels - but I also have the original hubs that were used on the modsports car that do fit the wheels so if someone wanted to use this combination they could. They are 4" PCD.

The wheels will not fit a standard car. If anyone wanted to use them, they would need to buy a new set of barrels to create new split rims with the correct inset and offset. At the moment the tyres on them are 250-515-13 and 225-515-13 ! They will need refurbishment to bring them back into good order and for some reason, the two fronts don't quite match (the lips are different)

It did occur to me that because they were fitted to a very successful modsports Elan I should offer them for sale here first but I anticipate that the audience is very limited. I am planning to list them in more traditional racing circles but if anyone does want them, I think it is right to offer them to the community first.

The callipers need a good clean out and I have a set of new seals for them.

AP racing equipment is not cheap - it is really well engineered specialist equipment which when refurbished will give very precise braking.

I do need to clear some space but am not interested in negotiating - if someone wanted the wheels, callipers, adapters and vented discs, they'd be looking at £950. The brakes adapters and vented discs are £650. If someone wanted the whole lot including uprights, steering arms and trunnions we'd be up at £1,100.

I get so tired of people making silly offers that I am going to sell them at fixed prices. It is the wheels that are taking up space and they will sell to a wide racing community. I have explained why I am offering them here first and the fact that I don't anticipate I will have much of an audience so please don't start a trail of lambasting comments on pricing. Racing gear is not cheap - it needs to be well made and reliable which is what this is.

Happy to answer questions.

Thanks
Gavin
