Lotus Elan

3.54 diff. 3.77 diff and other tranny bits

PostPost by: jono » Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:13 am

I am starting my parts clear out, lots to follow but first up are:

Complete 3.54 diff unit in the later (stronger) case and with the later stronger output shafts. Rebuilt 10k miles ago with new bearings, crush tube, nut etc. may benefit from new output bearings and seals (cheap and easy) as small oil leak but otherwise ready to fit. £475.

3.77 diff unit (no pumpkin or pigs head), good condition - £225

Diff brace - £25

Earlier type diff output shafts - excellent visual condition, no twists or other deformity. £60/pair

Complete semi close gearset with mainshaft, inpt shaft laygear etc (later snap ring type box). Low miles and in excellent condition (spent its entire life in a TC Seven which did 52k miles from new). £225

All above pick up (Cumbria) or P&P at cost

...other bits to follow

Please PM with any interest

I've had lots of interest by PM and will reply to everyone and prioritise according to the order in which expressions of interest came in.

...please bear with me and I will respond in turn once I know who has bought what.

Cheers

Just a note to everyone who has expressed an interest - if we've agreed a deal then the parts are sold as far as I am concerned.

However, I am extremely busy trying to make a living as well and so it may take a little time for me to resolve shipping costs and arrange packing.

If the parts are urgent then I am happy to cancel what we may have agreed.

Otherwise, you are free to come to Cumbria hand over the cash and take the bits away. :D

Sorry - I am stressed out with work at the moment and other personal matters and so cannot jump through hoops to try and keep folk happy.
