Smith Heater Motor Rebuild

PostPost by: pudge2260 » Sat Jan 06, 2024 9:33 pm

1970 Lotus +2-
Has anyone attempted to replace the brushes in the heater fan motor? During disassembly parts fell out, hate it when that happens. 2 springs, 2 plastic spacers, and 2 washers. I guess that they go around the mounting bolts, but in what order?
Happy New Year to all.

Hi Richard, you'd be better off moving this question to the Tech section, it's posted in the Classified Ads currently. Might get you some answers.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was wondering why I was not getting any responses.
