Wow. Unusual for someone like Coys to get that wrong. Doesn’t even have a cigarette lighter!

It looks like a 1968/9 s4. The vin number 451982 is either a mistake or fictitious. Serial number "1982" (if I haven't misread it) I don't think was ever used, it would have been a 1964 series 1, but the numbers had 3000 added to them early in s1 production. Possibly after Bourne stopped making the shells but I'm sure someone else knows more about that than me. Perhaps the whole ad is fake as Coy's should certainly know better.

Looks exactly like my mid 69 S4 apart from the colour and being lhd. I thought Strombergs were used from March 68 so I’d guess it must be after that.

It would make sense if someone mistook the separator between the 5 and 9 as a one and couldn't read the last number on the right, electric pencil marks can be that way. Notice it is also listed as a 1967 model.

45/982x makes sense and puts it mid-late 1969 I think.
