She’s an absolute Darling.

A screen icon, from a golden era. An Oscar winner! Please, please, please bring her back to life, or send her home to be utterly adored in her ancestral home.

She must be loved!
Where, then, lies the answer? In choice. Which shall it be: bankruptcy of purse or bankruptcy of life?

Is she airflow or pre-airflow?

Quite a late S3 S/E Airflow from August '67. Lovely original looking car. Shipped out to California in 1980, and still has it's UK plates. I wonder if it was ever on the road in the US? Only used for 13 years if not...but needing everything doing.

Airflow cars arrived in late '66 or early '67. They had small vents at the end of the dash and of course the extractor vents in the B pillars (on the fixed head), but the S3 drop head coupe and fixed head coupe arrived in early '66 before the airflow system had been perfected and Lotus sold a number of pre-airflow cars, so yes, there are non-airflow coupes, but to answer your question - an airflow coupe has to have the extractor vents.
