Guide-Price on this offering from Anglia Auctions seems a bit ambitious.

Things it needs so far.
Four new wheels £880.00
Maybe tyres
Hood frame appears too high, poor fit to doors. Maybe a mistake when converted to DHC
incorrect steering wheel fitted.
Headlight pod lowering system to be reinstated, starting with nothing.
Engine bay and sills should be black.
Interior is as yet unknown.
Could be a nice car eventually, but it will always be a sawn off fixed head.
All these affect the price.

PS The steering wheel might be OK. I am not sure about that.

Why on earth does it need wheels & tyres? Those are 26r replicas:

Because I don`t like them on a Series 3 and I would be looking to reinstate the correct wheels.
Perhaps they would be perfect on a 26 R. I am not particularly a purist but some things I do not like.
Perhaps the new owner could get a good price for them and cut the costs that way. It provides another option.

No, I don`t want it. I`ve got one. I am just answering your question.

It’s obviously not a car for the purists, it’s an attempt at a GTS car with the headlamp conversion, 26R steering wheel. The gap between the doorframes and the hood is a little worrying - maybe it’s got an aftermarket hood frame fitted?? Whatever it is if that was corrected I’d think you’d have a saggy hood - bit of a conundrum that one. the tach and rev counter aren’t correct but the car isn’t an originality queen so maybe doesn’t matter to it’s target audience. It would be interesting to see the more interior shots and slightly zoomed out engine bay too.

I’m sure it’ll be enjoyable for the right buyer.
