overdrive device from way back

This is a Hone-o-Drive, which I suppose is too large to fit in the torsion box, but I think I see in the article in one of the pics that it was developed using a Pinto, which suggests, hey, maybe there is a chance.

This posted for the benefit of all the people who periodically post about longer gearing.

fwiw someone apparently considered having a go at remanunfacturing these a few years ago

though it is unclear at first glance if any were actually made... (like for J.A.P. Magna wheels, a tentative buzz was generated without anything real afterward)
