can someone enlighten me on the outer door handles for my plus two?
I believe they originated as MGB is this correct? or is it Midget or
are they both the same? are the pedal rubbers also midget?
Iam trying to purchase some new stuff for my car at MG prices instead
of Lotus prices which seem to be at least 25 to 50 percent more when
called a lotus piece.

thanks

Have a look at Weston Body Hardware, they manufactues the handles. Ask them to fax you their classic chrome catalogue which has all the details

<a href='http://www.wbh.co.uk/' target='_blank'>http://www.wbh.co.uk/</a>

If you look on my web site www.lotuselan.co.uk I have details of the supplier I used as WBH like a min order of ?150.. I saved about 30% on chrome parts. You will however need to go to a Lotus Dealer such as Sue Miller or Paul Matty to get the gaskets which fit between the handles and the body.

I seem to remember the handles are slightly different from the MGB ones, same on the outside but different inside the door.

If they are the same as my Sprint, the part numbers are 1/24467 (RH), 1/24468 (LH) and 1/2446 (pair)
They also do boot hinges, bonnet locks and door locks.

I think the pedal rubbers are Triumph Herald?

Feel free to email me.

The early plus2 was austin 1100/1300 the later plus2 S was Triumph Dolomite/Toledo/TR6 all very similar but subtly different in profles.
