sun visor source

Where were the +2 sun visors from? Were they the same as an Elan FHC?

Does anyone have a set for sale?

Mostly interested in the metal bits the fabric can be missing and in any condition.

I live in Easter United States. Post from UK is not expensive so I would be interested in the correct part from there.

My S3 fhc had lost its sunvisors by the time I bought it, following a restoration which included a new headlining. Some detective work revealed that Hillman Imps had almost exactly the same sunvisor, so that is what my car now has. All they needed was a gentle bend to the support bracket and a fresh coat of paint - Ford Dove Grey was a perfect match - to make good the paint cracked during the bending.

The Imp vinyl covering isn't exactly right but it's close enough to look in keeping.

Hope that helps. Various Imp specialists in the UK might have secondhand visors.

I agree, the headliner material in mine is straight out of a Ford Cortina.
