Andy- do you mean the arm rest? if so, gear knob off, cigerette lighter out, headlight knob off (little plunger on the side) then pull back slightly and lift from the rear (diff end). not sure what complications you'll have with aroll bar tho.
Neil - I see from your pics there's a coulpe of spacers on your gearbox mount - why? I dont remember mine having any - is a Spyder mount different? enlightenment please.

A terrific set of pictures. I thought I went overboard taking pictures when doing jobs on my car - but you make me look like a real amateur. I've now put the link in my favorites for future reference.

The spacers on the Lotus support look like spec parts to me. It's true that the Spyder support is taller and eliminates the need for spacers.
