Altering boot lid fit

Regarding catch fit, my plunger is pulled way toward back of car and doesn't look that good since some of elongated holes show up but it used that much adjustment to fit--alrady like that, I didn't elongate the holes. Will try post pic. Gordon Sauer

Actually, plunger is way forward so it picks up metal cross pice hole. Gordon Sauer

The gap between the bootlid and rear panel has always been larger in the centre than sides on mine, After it was heavily rear ended I replaced the body from the door backwards and boot lid with new panels from Boss motors (who use the original moulds), it was exactly the same with these as well (all the metal supports etc are fitted), I assume they were like this when built and have choosen to leave is as it is.
