Which colour?

I know this has been done to death but I wanted to canvass opinion as I am just about to embark upon the most expensive phase of my Plus 2 resto, probably using Option 1 (gulp ). I am terrified of making a wrong decision.

It's a 1970 Plus 2 S, currently Royal Blue which I don't like. I am not hung up on Lotus colours and was thinking of a non standard colour, in fact pretty much set on one.

I am particularly fetched with the idea of a dark pearlescent green (seen a modern Jag colour which looks nice) with a gunmetal or mid grey pearlescent roof. I think this would look nice. Or would it look better all green to show up the chromework around the doors and gutter rails?

On the other hand I also think all over white looks very classy on a Plus 2. A friend has just bought a Mito which is finished in a lovely off white 'period' looking colour, I think it's called Blancospiero (or something Italian!). I think it would look stunning on a Plus 2.

..the car will have gunmetal minilites with polished rims.

Any views??
