Elan S4's and Sprint's, can't say about Plus 2's. Quite rare nowadays.

Those are not the correct Tudor T309 washer jets - yes they are similar but not the ones fitted to early mini or Elan (I'm not even certain the mini ones are exactly the same they may be a touch shorter as they only have to pass through a thin piece of tin rather than thicker fibreglass.

These are the correct ones:

Yep the Mini Tudor washer jets fit fine (mine are from a Mk1 Mini) they are just made of cheese so you have to be very careful tightening them up or you strip the threads off.

Reproductions of the Mini versions are readily available.

Interesting. The ones in my pics are from my Plus 2 and I think they're original to the car- perhaps might have been one of the less common of multiple types they used, as with so many other Lotus bits?

With that in mind, I won't be too picky about what I use in their place. The old nozzles don't squirt so well even after trying to chase them out and soaking in them vinegar and compressed air.

Hi The Veg,
Agree, the nozzles in your pics are the same as the ones fitted to my S4.
Cheers,
Colin.

The ones int he picture are the same as fitted to my 1970 S4 but not to my 1968 S4 which had chrome nozzles as per MG Midget etc of the period and my S2. As my '68 was a very early one and assuming it is an original fitting, that suggests they were changed to the black plastic type sometime in 1968.
