Crashpad repair Elan S2

Having been inspired by el-satun's post showing a repair to a crashpad I've managed to make a repair to mine. I was going to fit a new replacement crashpad bought from Paul Matty's about a year ago, which is very good but would need work to make it fit. So I'm going to fit the repaired original :D .

nice job paul! i'm glad i could motivate someone to induldge in this awful job: my entire workshop is dusty!! my pad was in much worse shape: the surfaces le+ri (on top) weren't there anymore and i HAD to cover the entire part with leather! you see how good the bond is between the vinyl and polyester!?!? alpine greetings sandy

Thanks for the positive comment. You may be correct that the bond between the vinyl and polyester resin isn't so good, but if I can get it in place I'm hoping that it's enough to stop the cracks opening up.
