Are the self tappers used no 6 or 8 also are flat spire clips still obtainable to secure stud to floor

Hi,
I now use pop rivets (with washers) as it's less painfull when you bump your head into them while working under the car. LoL.
I buy spire nuts, pop rivets and washers from ebay.
