persistant broken window

on my S2 elan the passenger window was cracked twice in the down position, I checked the interior working but nothing obvious seems a miss but obviously I am missing something. considering to just eliminate it as it is never used in up position

Perhaps when the car is rocking around the pane hits on one of the bolt/screw/pulley heads???

Passenger with sharp elbows? That little door card doesn't offer much protection from the clumsy...

Some people just LOVE to SLAM doors. I know somebody who does their best to break the door on any car every time they shut it.
