Paul, thank you for the schematic of the Tenax locations, but be careful. I've purchased used Tonneau (sp?) and hoods with the Tenax fastners in slightly different locations. Same issue with the vinyl at the bottom of the doors. Just a hair different from one car to another.

Thanks for the positive comments. I guess there are plenty of families who have to put up with this type of behaviour even if they don't quite get it. My family are very patient with me

On the Tenax fitting: It would be fascinating to have more insight on how the Lotus factory managed these aspects. My Engineering head would make me want to have a jig that fitted onto the body so the holes could be drilled in the same place on every car. The dimensions on my car make me assume it wasn't done that way. Does anyone actually know, or is that detail lost to us?
From what I've read in the forums I understand that the hoods/tonneaus are supplied without the Tenax fitting in place so the can be fitted once the hood or tonneau is on the car to match the fitting in the body wherever they are.
