Hi

Can anyone tell me if the Plus 2 fresh air vents at the sides of the the dashboard are supposed to have gaskets, please? Kind of like instrument gaskets. The old dash had none but I am concerned that the new dash might be damaged without some sort of protection between the vent bezel and lacquer.

Well I'm on my third dash, and I never saw any evidence of a gasket.

Never noticed any damage in the contact area either.

You could check parts drawings?
Or even install anyway if the vent will still stay where it's put?

I made one up myself. Not on the parts diagram, but my new dash is slightly thinner than the original so the vents are loose. Plus, I?m looking after that super shiny veneer!
