The body is now bolted onto the chassis.

One action I would suggest is to helicoil all the bobbins before fitting. I had three strip when bolting in place and they are much easier to repair when the body is off the car! In the end, I helicoiled all the bobbins, as it gives a much stronger thread.
The body is located on the front and rear chassis brackets but the car is sitting about 2" high. The engine, g/b and diff are fitted with all new springs/dampers, but no doors, glass, interior, seats, petrol tank etc. Is this correct and can I expect the car to settle as I fit all these items or have I the very rare SUV elan?
