Spare Keys

PostPost by: chrisE » Sun Mar 28, 2004 9:26 am

Hi All

I have just bought an 1972 Elan Sprint, but it only has one set of keys, does anyone know of anywhere I can get another set made.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Always keep a hairgrip in your wallet, in-case you loose your keys.
In fact just about any bit of metal jiggled in the 30 year old lock of an old british car will open it.

Recently had the locks keyed on an Elan restoration. I got the car with no keys. Took the door locks & trunk lock to a keysmith and they were able to cut new keys. The key blanks are from Ilco, B62 DR.

If you live in the UK just go to Timpsons, they have all the blanks.
