Original carpet for the elan

Stu,
I sent a query to Aldridge and they have now confirmed to me that the sample they have sent me, shown in my photo yesterday, is indeed their version of 'Black Loop Pile' and is not 'Boxweave' as shown on the sample label...they confirm that they had obviously labelled my sample incorrectly.
I still don't want this carpet but I thought it would be useful to get clarification for you or anyone else who wishes to go down this route with Aldridge.

Great. Thanks for confirming. Just heard from Aldridge that my door card rails are now in the workshop. Going to be a huge improvement. Also asked them if they have a four rod Lodestar pre sewn headliner available.
